To enable the ability to email customer new letters, receipts, and end-of-day reports, you will need to setup your email account within CashFootprint.  Below are the details on how to do so:

First, go to the Tools menu within CashFootprint and select Options.  Then click on the Email or Social (version 2.4 or greater) tab.  Find the provider listed below and enter your values.

If you do not see your provider listed, please Google your provider followed by "smtp settings".  (ex: Charter SMTP settings)

Password caveat: If you have 2-step verification / Two Factor Authentication turned on in your email account, you will need to generate a new app password to use with CashFootprint.  If you don't know what this means or are not sure if you have it turned on, try your normal email password.
